Cadets swim to win at 14F

Cadets from 14F swam to victory at Middlesex Wing’s annual Inter-Sqn Swimming competition on Saturday 16th September.

The Sqn managed to enter teams in the junior girls and junior and senior boys groups, with over 16 cadets from 14F swimming on the night.

Hopes had always been high for the Junior Girls team this year, after their success in 2005 of second place with only two swimmers. So when this year’s team fielded 6 girls, it was no surprise when they won their category by over 20 points.
The senior boys also went on to win their category, signalling a high placing overall for 14F.

The team eventually went on to win overall with a total of 99 points and a collection of over 20 medals.

4 of the Junior Girls and 1 of the Senior boys have also been selected to represent Middlesex Wing on the 30th September and the Sqn wishes them all the best of luck.

Thanks go to all the cadets who swam and also to the cadets and staff who supported the sqn, not only on the night, but in the run up to the competition as well.
