Cadet Sergeant Luke Staff has just become the first person at 14F to complete 3 major road marching events.

During his time in the ATC, Luke has completed RAF WARMA 3 times, Nijmegen twice and has just returned from Belgium where he recently completed the Death March in 20 hours.

The Death March is an annual 100km route march that must be completed in under 24 hours. Due to the physical and mental demands of the march, it only holds a 50% completion rate. When asked why he had chosen to do the Death March, Luke said, "After completing Nijmegen twice before, me and the other walkers felt we needed a new and more demanding challenge and opted to see how far we could push ourselves."

The trip, which took place between the 10th and 13th of August was organised by Sgt Staff and 9 other cadets from Middlesex Wing. Due to its success this year, the team are now looking to enter an official Middlesex Wing team in 2007.
